We are on the lookout for an ardent Account Executive who has an uncanny knack for quickly grasping customers business requirements and translating them into solutions that can be addressed by us. You must have an exceptional ability at handling objections, winning over the customer, and closing the sale. You will engage with the prospect customers to answer questions, share proposals and follow up for closure and maintain constant communication to win the prospects business.

About the role:

Position: Account Executive for ‘Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) Business


  • Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets for the assigned segment/territory.
  • Responsible for closing the sale – converting leads generated by outbound and inbound sales teams.
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations, product demonstrations, preparing commercial proposals, negotiations, and sales closure.
  • Manage numerous deals concurrently & strategically
  • Create & articulate compelling value conversations with C-Level stakeholders
  • Work in alignment with inside stakeholders namely SDRs / MDRs, Product, Customer Success, Implementations, Billing, and Support in closing the sale.
  • Analyze sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve your strategy
  • Responsible for establishing strong relationships with new prospects as well as maintaining relationships with existing accounts.

Skills and Qualification:

  • Saas sales experience in mid-market / SME segment with a reputation for over-achieving sales quota consistently.
  • MBA or Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years experience in B2B SaaS sales. Prior experience in selling CPaaS or messaging solutions is a plus.
  • Skilled at closing the sale.
  • Skilled in gathering customer requirements, documenting RFI/RFPs, and submitting commercial proposals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/phone skills
  • Ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations to customers.
  • Hands-on experience in using CRM and other sales & marketing automation tools is a plus.
  • Possess both sales and technical expertise along with a breadth of engagement skills ranging from CXO level to technical and operations staff.
